Based on the success of the TrueView II design Olympus developed a new generation of 1.9 mm fiber optic telescopes. The use of glass fiber bundles for both, optical and illumination paths, provides durability that could not be achieved with rodlenses for this small of a telescope. Improved image quality provides bright illumination, brilliant color reproduction and high optical resolution in accordance with highest Olympus standards. The unique quick lock mechanism facilitates set up and provides a secure camera connection. 

The 1.9mm TrueView Mini telescopes feature improved durability with steam autoclaving and are protected by a 5 year GoldtipTM autoclavability guarantee.
