Olympus UES-40 Electrosurgery Unit
The UES-40 delivers a whole new level of sophistication
to procedures. Utilizing an advanced automatic output control system, it monitors
and regulates output to optimize both cutting and coagulation. In other words,

The Olympus UES-40 SurgMaster generator can provide a complete solution for all
electrosurgery needs, including resection in saline. This single unit allows the
surgeon to perform conventional monopolar, bipolar and saline.
The UES-40 is compatible with the SonoSurg Ultrasonic Surgical System, allowing
high-frequency output using its transducer, further expanding surgical possibilities.

Ultrasonic coagulation and cutting
|
By transmitting ultrasonic vibrations into energy, SonoSurg prevents bleeding by
coagulating blood as it cuts tissue. Since coagulation and cutting are performed
at a low temperature, tissue does not char. So there is no of the smoke caused by
the high temperatures such as from electrosurgical units, and the intraoperative
view is always clear. Furthermore, since the probe is reusable, expenses are minimized,
making cost efficiency an additional benefit.

High flow insufflations unit

Clear interior space for clear-thinking procedures. When the UHI-3 is connected
to the SonoSurg Ultrasonic Surgical System, mist evacuation begins simultaneously
with ultrasonic output. Just press the foot switch (optional) of the SonoSurg generator
and smoke and mist will be evacuated, so you can keep your clear view during surgery.
Better views and more ergonomic reduces stress in the OR and improves the quality,
safety and speed of each procedure.
Powerful 35 L/min. insufflations
The UHI-3 features a powerful 35 L/min. high flow gas-supply. It can quickly respond
to gas leakages to return to the preset pressure level
Automatic relief
When abdominal pressure becomes too high, a warning lamp and an alarm are activated,
and a pinch valve on the suction tube opens automatically to release excess pressure
Low noise design
Noise is kept especially low through an innovative mechanism in the electromagnetic
