Olympus UHI-3 High Flow Insufflation Unit
The Olympus UHI-3 supplies up to 35 L/min gas supply, quickly responding to gas leakages to return the pneumoperitoneum to the preset pressure level.

Automatic relief - when abdominal pressure becomes too high, a warning lamp and an alarm are activated, and a pinch valve on the suction tube opens automatically to release excess pressure. Low noise design - noise is kept low through an innovative mechanism in the electromagnatic valve. Three main flow settings - the flow rate can be quickly set to pre-set levels: Low, Medium or High.

Check critical data at a glance - actual and preset pressures are displayed simultaneously, allowing instant monitoring.

Connectable to medical gas pipeline - the UHI-3’s pressure control mechanism allows connection to a hospital medical gas pipeline, eliminating the need for handling gas cylinders.

Smoke evacuation system - operation of the optional footswitch provides evacuation of the smoke and mist generated during electrosurgery and ultrasonic procedures.

When the UHI-3 is connected to the Olympus SonoSurg Ultrasonic Surgical System, smoke and mist evacuation begins simultaneously with ultrasonic output. Just press the footswitch of the SonoSurg generator and evacuation begins, so keeping the view clear for safe surgery.
