Olympus LUS-2 Ultrasonic Lithotriptor
Ultrasonic lithotripsy is widely accepted as a minimally invasive approach to calculi disintegration and fragment removal.

The LUS-2 includes an ergonomic, lightweight transducer to reduce operator fatigue and allowing improved probe control. Both the application of ultrasonic energy and suction of remaining fragments are controlled from the dual foot switch.

Three ultrasonic energy levels and four suction power settings can be selected from the front panel.

Upon detecting disconnection, probe damage or transducer malfunction, an alarm sounds and a warning indicator illuminates.

Five optional probes, with diameters from 1.5mm to 3.7mm, are available, and changing from one to another is a quick and simple task.
