Olympus' exclusive corporate sponsorship of “They Made America” stands as a testament to the unique and innovative ideas brought forth by some of America’s most brilliant minds as well as Olympus’ own innovative endeavors of the last 85 years, including the world’s first gastrocamera in 1950 and the world’s first professional SLR camera designed from the ground up to be digital, the E-1, in 2003.

The television broadcast feature some of the world’s most innovative developments – from the inception of the transcontinental railroad to the 24-hour news channel (CNN).
