Based on FAA regulations, in most cases your camera and film SHOULD NOT be scanned through airport security machines. This would include the film in your camera, new unopened film, and undeveloped film. Please be advised of the following recommendations:

When you arrive at the security checkpoint, ask the screener to hand inspect your camera and film. FAA regulations require the screener to comply if the passenger requests this.
